Legal Research Jump Start: Citation Intro

This guide is designed to help first year students learn about various types of legal research resources and how to use them effectively. As the fall semester progresses, new tabs introducing different resources will be added.

Page Explanation

This page gives you two tutorials which introduce you to the Bluebook, the citation format used in legal writing. For tutorials on citation to specific types of sources, please click on the tabs for those sources (for example, you will find a tutorial on how to cite legal encyclopedias on the "Encyclopedias" tab).
