Legal Research Jump Start: ALRs

This guide is designed to help first year students learn about various types of legal research resources and how to use them effectively. As the fall semester progresses, new tabs introducing different resources will be added.

Page Explanation

The Process book covers American Law Reports annotations (ALRs) in Chapter 3, on pages 49-59.

The first tutorial in the center will tell you what ALR annotations are, where to find them, and when to use them.

The second tutorial looks at how to cite to an ALR annotation using The Bluebook.
